1968 Code - Final Application Criteria
There are less than two weeks to go until the conversion to the 2008 Building Code and therefore still time for applications, under certain conditions.
The DOB has clarified the acceptance criteria for applications and approval under the 1968 Building Code, through June 30, 2009.
An application for construction document approval must be submitted on or before June 30, 2009 and:
1. Must have a Job Status Code “D” and Online Code “A/P Entire”
2. Must include architectural, foundation and structural plans.
3. Additional subsequent related filings may be submitted under the 1968 Code after July 1, 2009 if they are be diligently pursued to completion.
4. Reviews and approvals from other agencies are not a prerequisite of such an application for construction document approval.
