Application Timelines Growing
There has been some recent activity surrounding applications filed with DOB examiners that has raised obvious questions.
The timeline for applications to turnaround seems to be growing, indicating that there may be a backlog of such applications with the DOB.
While the DOB has not issued any tangible statement regarding this, there have been rumors of sporadic appointment cancellations and the possibility of complete days where examiners are not available.
Hopefully the backlog will be cleared swiftly. We will keep everyone apprised of any factual changes to the process when and if they occur. For the time being, anticipating delays in project timelines seems like a wise move.
