Rumor - DOB Responding to Applicant Issues

We’ve heard rumblings that the Manhattan DOB intends to address the resource issue leading to the appointment backlog which is slowing the approval process.

Starting as soon as next Monday, or August 16th, the DOB will add three new examiners to the plan examination team.

What this means, hopefully, is that the timeline to set up appointments will gain some momentum, therefore shrinking the current delays.

We will keep you apprised of the developments as they happen.
